Hi folks! I just stumbled upon this series of photographs by Andrew Bush and thought I would share it as I love the concept and the photos.

In this series of drive-by portraits, spanning over 15 years, Bush used a camera attached to his passenger window to capture everyday people in their cars. Not only are these pictures socially interesting (observing the people, their attitude, car and probable social class) they are also interesting historically (hair styles, clothing, cars).

I think the reason why I was attracted to this series the moment I saw it is because I love observing people in their cars as I pass them on the highway. I then, inevitably, get the questions running through my mind: who are they? Where are they from and where are they going? Why?

You can see more of these pictures on Bush's site: Vector Portraits or purchase the book: Drive.

Have a great day!
