Despite going there nearly 10 times, I've never been a big fan of Paris. Sure it's a great weekend destination and only 3:30 hours away from Geneva by train but I never really hooked with the city nor with its people.
I am not sure why but this trip made me feel a bit different. I am still not addicted to the City of Blinding Lights but I saw Paris in a different way. It might have been the strange weather, the fact that I was in very charming company or maybe because I tried focusing on a different type of photography, nevertheless I am starting to like Paris, its streets, its atmosphere.
I particularly like the Montmarte and Pigalle districts which are unfortunately very touristy but also very lively.
