I know I might upset some people but I think time-lapse videos are boring. Well most of them at least. They are always the same: some clouds passing over a city, a beautiful landscape with grass blowing in the wind, a street crawling with people moving frantically (add a tilt-shift effect to that and you reach god-like status), etc… you get the picture, right?
Well that was before!
Enter Teehan+Lax Labs.
They just took time-lapse to a whole new level with hyperlapse. It's basically a time-lapse video with sweeping camera movements. But they didn't stop there. They used Google Street View images to create the video below.
As they say an image — or in this case, many images — are worth a thousand words, I'll leave you with the video.
