I wrote this post a couple of months ago but forgot to post it. So here it is. Better late than never, right?
The other night (a couple of months ago), Anka and I were watching Jobs, the story of how Steve Jobs founded Apple, how he was fired from his own company and then came back triumphantly. The movie was alright but it kind of felt like a two hours infomercial for Apple. And don’t get me wrong, I’m an Apple fan boy!
Anyway, I digress. What I wanted to come to is the final moments of the movie. When Steve Jobs (Ashton Kutcher) records his famous quote. It inspires me so much to go out there and try to do something different, push the boundaries, break the rules and be crazy. Be a misfit. A rebel. A trouble maker.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
Let’s challenge the status quo, let’s change the world!
