TECH: What’s in the bag?!
If you don’t like gear or tech stuff beware as I am about to geek out! The other day a friend published a picture of his gear on a message board and I thought I would do the same, just for fun!
I also wanted to share something I did yesterday and that I believe to be very important:
insure my gear!
It was something I’d been trying to do for quite a while now by contacting different insurance companies. I must admit that the offer in Switzerland isn’t very big and advertised but I finally got a good contact through a friend of mine. It feels great to know that if my stuff is stolen or damaged, it will be covered! It definitively brings peace of mind, I can guarantee it! If you have a substantial amount of gear, I can only recommend you contact an insurer. Please let me know if you would like me to put you in touch with my contact in Geneva.
Anyway, enough babbling, here is the photo of my stuff —
So, that’s about it. I didn’t add my light modifiers or tripods and things like that but you get the picture, right?!
I am very fortunate to have all this gear but there is more to photography than just a few bodies and lenses. Remember what the Romans used to say: «
Barba non facit philosophum» (A beard does not constitute a philosopher).
It’s all about vision!
It’s Wednesday, have a great day!
