SHOOT: What the duck?!
Now that the wallpaper is published I can show you the behind the scenes of that shoot.
As, for once, Anka wasn’t my model, she was able to assist me and also take a quick shot of me photographing my talent for the day.
I really was going for a fresh look with quite vibrant colors (green, blue, yellow). The lighting setup was meant to make the model stand out from the background and was the following:
- Key: 135cm octabank camera left
- Fill: 50x130cm strip camera right
- 18cm reflector with 20° grid pointing down at the ducks on camera left.
But as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words so here is the behind the scenes picture from Anka’s iPhone.
As far as the camera goes, I used a 50mm f/1.4 lens on my D3s and settings were at 1/125th and f/10.
