about josh fassbind

QUICK BIO

I was born and raised in the international city of Geneva, Switzerland. I am Swiss and American and I believe to be a good mix of these cultures: Old Europe’s precision and tradition, America’s welcoming and easy-going style.

I started photography as a teenager along with designing websites. A few years later, I decided to undergo a graphics design complementary training since I had always been interested in visual arts and computers. Through this training, I learned a lot about art in general. Lighting, composition, colors, etc. But with the boom of digital cameras, my interest recentered on photography. It was first as a hobby and, in 2010, life gave me a small push and I decided to start my own business as a photographer.

Since then I have been working on different assignments for companies (Green Cross International, PepsiCo, UNIQA, Acidmoto, Geneva Charity Ball, etc.) and for private clients (primarily portraiture). Alongside, in 2011 I studied at the International Center for Photography in New York and I am currently working on different personal projects.
